About the AA-2 Flight Test Vehicle
The actual AA-2 Flight Test Vehicle is intended to demonstrate and qualify the Orion Launch Abort System (LAS) for the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle. It is a collaborative effort between Orbital ATK Corporation under contract by U.S. Air Force, Langley Research Center, Johnson Space Center, Lockheed Martin under the Orion Prime Contract, and Armstrong Flight Research Center.
Build Time
Each model is made through a combination of methods that include CNC milling, 3d Printing, and manual crafting. Please allow up to 3 weeks before product is ready to ship.
